Web Typography

Robin Rendle wrote an amazing article about Web Typography based on the changing attitudes and philosophy of Jan Tschichold, the influential German book designer. He deals with technological influence over the presentation of typography on the web, performance realities, and the future of letterforms. It’s a fascinating and engaging read. I especially loved his comments on truly responsive letterforms. Anybody who designs and develops for the web would be better for reading it.
