Barley CMS

Plain, a new startup from Carbondale, PA, just posted a video preview of their upcoming CMS, Barley.

This is not the first time I have seen this idea for a CMS but it is the slickest. The possibilities seem very exciting to me. I am curious how this CMS will handle two things, larger sites and non-text content. A larger site is not necessarily a problem for the content editing style, but I am curious to see if unforeseen issues pop-up. Dealing with adding/swapping photos, videos and graphics will be a big part of any CMS’ success. I am excited to see the shipping product and try it out.
