CognitiveScale: Cortex Toolkit

CognitiveScale’s Cortex platform aimed to serve the needs of building AI solutions from end-to-end. In order to help Data Scientists annotate and classify text in order to training Machine Learning Models, we designed the Toolkit.

Text classification project and sentiment analysis.

The design process involved collaboration, interviews, and user research with Data Scientists to find what would serve their needs best. The Toolkit needed to be used by Data Scientists but also by other subject matter experts in diverse knowledge domains, whom Data Scientists rely on to properly train their models. For this project, I collaborated with another Senior Designer, as well as product leadership, and a remote development team to design the Toolkit.
