A Psalm
May the oppressor fall in their own traps and become mired in the swamp of their ambition,
May the tyrant’s plans come to nothing but their own downfall,
May the aggressor repent or receive swift justice,
May the soldiers who have been sent fail, yet be preserved from their master’s folly,
May the oppressed resist and maintain their freedom,
May cries for aid be answered with nourishment and defense,
May neighboring lands open their doors wide for the displaced,
May the nations stand together, resisting evil and deceit,
May sunflowers grow unmolested,
Lord, come quickly and let thy justice and mercy rain down upon thy children.
